Having previously worked with the owners of this property on the refurbishment of their family home, we were appointed to design and supervise the construction of a new top floor created within the butterfly roof space containing a master bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, en-suite shower room and utility room.

The existing butterfly roof and high parapet walls to the property offered a great opportunity to create an entire additional storey whilst minimising its visual impact externally.

New glazing follows the original butterfly roof profile in order to maximise the south-facing views to the rear from the master bedroom space. The roof-lit walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room are situated to the front of the property.

Bespoke joinery items include a vanity unit and stool and built-in storage throughout the bedroom and walk-in wardrobe areas.

The completed project has resulted in a practical and very personalised space; a great addition to this lovely family home.
